Description
A wooden smoothing plane with a wooden wedge and steel blade. Stamped at one end is the manufacturer "A Mathieson & Son, Glasgow" and owner of the plane "W. Pollitt". At the other end the owner's name is again stamped as well as "1 1/4" for the size of the tool.
