Description
Steam driven engine two speed. Engine No. 40111. Runs on four iron, red and black wheels, that have rubber tyres riveted on. One of the rear wheels acts as a brake. The brake works when a wheel is turned which in turn draws an iron band with brake padding under it tight around the inside of the wheel. The other wheel drives the machine. Steering is two chains, one hooked to each side of front wheels. Reg. No IX 4638, HP 8. Boiler pressure 120 psi. Heating area is 12m in sq metres.
