Description
A rectangular metal charity money box similar in shape to a book. The slot is located in the centre of one of the long sides above a red box with a brown border and text which reads "FOR DR BARNARDO'S HOMES". On the front is a colour illustration of a child holding another wrapped in a blanket, below them gold printing reads "IS IT NOTHING TO YOU?" A white paper label is attached to one end with dark blue text beginning with "DR BARNARDO'S HOMES: Young Helpers [League]. This box is the property of the Young Helpers League and... for the benefit of the Sick Children under the care of the League." On the underside is a picture of "THE LATE DR BARNARDO."
