Description
A rectangular metal plate showing the Bank of New South Wales Coat of Arms. The arms feature a central shield on which are a ship flanked by sheaves of wheat, a sheep, cow and a crossed pick and spade. Atop the shield is a rising sun and kangaroo while on the left is an emu and a swan on the right. Across the bottom, a scroll reads "SIC FORTIS ETRURIA CREVIT" or "Thus strong Etruria prospered". In each corner of the sign is a hole for screws. This particular plate is from the St Heliers, Auckland Branch of the BNSW.
