Object detail

Description
A sage green/grey silk skirt, lined with stiff netting around skirt base and the front panel is edged with wool tape. Skirt front has ruched silk/satin panel of beige/grey which is approximately 940mm long. It starts at waist 120mm (approx) wide and increases to 320mm (approx) wide at the base. The skirt hem has pleating on either side of the panel at the base 75mm deep. The back of the skirt has a gathered central panel with two tags/flaps. One is in silver grey silk, the other sage green/grey silk. There are two opened side lined panels on the outer edges. These are plain and edged with silver grey silk and a dark grey button in the right/left hand corner. There are three layers of pleating around hem base. The waist is fastened by two hooks and eyes. Has a matching jacket.
