Description
A spear made of bamboo-like wood. The non-tip end has been broken, the tip end sits inside a piece of cork for safety. The lower half of the spear is darker in colour, as though made of a different wood and has fine binding in two places. There are two carved areas on the botton half.

Collected from the Solomon Islands by Mr George Smith (donor's late husband) when working for a Melanesian mission in the 1930s.
