A ceremonial cloak made of dark blue velvet with attached hood, lined with purple satin and trimmed around all edges with white fake fur. The shoulders have shoulder pads between the lining and outer fabric. It fastens at the neck with a metal hook-and-eye.

This cloak was worn by the Queen of the Tauranga Orange Festival. The festival began in 1961 thanks to a festival committee formed by Ada Parnwell, a well known Borough Councillor and local business woman.
