Description
A letter book which belonged to Carlos Kramer Walter. Carlos came from Brazil and was the Brazilian Consul in NSW, Australia. He was also a trader in Taonga and came to New Zealand where he purchased a store in Maketu at the end of 1893. He sold the store to Moses Spence and about 1901 shifted to Paengoroa where he opened the first Post Ofice in 1906.
