Object detail

Description
A rectangular brass plaque with engraved block capitals filled with a black substance. Reads from top: "ACENTS / SHAW, SAVILL & ALBION / COY LTD", remains of white paint on the letters. Small screw holes are in all four corners and centre top and bottom.

Shaw Savill Line and the Albion Line merged to create P Henderson & Company's Shaw, Savill & Albion Line in 1882.
