Description
An ovate-shaped gold ring cowrie shell (Monetaria moneta) which is bulbous with a flat underside. On the bottom through the middle is a long narrow mouth which extends along the length of the shell and is corrugated on both sides. The shell is predominantly white/off white in colour with a gold-coloured ring around the top.
