Description
A rectangular cardboard dance card which reads "Programme of Return Leap-Year Ball, A. C. Barracks, Thursday, Nov 20, 1884", "Printed by T. W. Rhodes, Tauranga". Writing announcing ball appears in scroll surrounded by floral arrangements and is held by a male hand. Proper right corner there is a punched hole. Inside is the evenings programme of dances with space for partners names. There are 24 dances printed and 23 names handwritten in pencil. Printed at the bottom is "Sir Roger De Coverly". At back handwritten in pencil "Miss Mu--" and "Mys Munse".
