Description
A mid brown rounded wood fishing lure with metal loop and metal ring attached at one end. At reverse end is a metal hook. The hook is inset into wood and held in place by a metal staple. One silver, black and red metal plate is attached either side with tacks. Dark brown metal plate tacked on flat surface and green metal plate on rounded surface. Green plate has crest and writing in the centre "Me Impune Dacess. nemo" "Royal scots grey", suggests that metal comes from a tobacco tin.

This lure was made by A. J. O'Neill who was a member of the Tauranga Yacht Club and a keen angler.
