Description
A bible with dark brown leather cover which is partially raised and has gold inlay and blind stamping. The centre of the front cover reads 'Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life - Holy Bible'. Inside cover reads 'Presented by..188...' P.6 reads "The Holy Bible containing old and new testaments, translated out of the orginal tongues". Bible is the revised King James version with 'Dr William Smith's Standard Bible Dictionary'. Also contains 'Over 2500 scripture illustrations on steel, wood and in colour'. Full page illustrations have tissue covering. Pages are edged with gold gilt.
