Description
A bible with a black leather cover and 'Holy Bible' Embossed in gold on spine. Inside cover is black paper. First page reads 'Presented to Lennard Bagguley, with good wishes from the Superintendent, Teachers and Scholars of the United Free Church Sunday School, Bulford Camp, Oct 12th 1924'. Title page reads 'The Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments, Translated out of orginal tongues'. Bible is the King James version. At the back is a 'Chronology of events between the time of Cyrus and the birth of Christ'. Pages are gilt edged. Cover has a 15mm overhang around the edge of the cover.
