Description
A set of two bibles that have dark brown leather covers with a blind stamped border. The spines are ribbed and blind stamped. Pages are edged with gold gilt and inside covers are dark brown paper with gold border. /1 Title page reads "The Critical and Explanatory pocket Bible. The Holy Bible...With orginal and selected parallel references and marginal readings, and on original and copious critical and explanatory commentary. Old testament - Genesis-Esther. By Rev Robert Jamieson, D.D., St Paul's, Glasgow. /2 Title page is identical except for "New Testament - Matthew - Revelation."
