Description
A maroon leather cover with blind stamped spice which has 'Common Prayer Hymns A&M' in gold at top. Around the outside of the cover is a 7mm wide overhang. Inside cover paper is marbled, pink and light blue. Top proper left corner black ink stamp 'Irene Linthorn'. This stamp is repeated in centre of following page. Title page reads 'The book of Common Prayer' and there is the royal crest with 'His Majesty's Printers' underneath. Pages are edged in maroon and gold gilt.
