Description
A dark brown leather cover that is extensively blind stamped with ornate patterns. Gold floral inlay is used on the spine and cover. Top of spine 'Holy Bible'. Pages are edged in gold gilt. Red masking tape has been used on spine, inside covers. Bible has a coloured title page that reads 'The Holy Bible' with marginal readings and parallel references, commentaries of Henry and Scott, condensed with a series of illustrations in Chromo-Lithography'. At the end of the old testament there is a 'Family Register' which is blank.
