Description
A 500 piece jigsaw puzzle depicting the geography of Britain and surrounding waters. Pieces are very similar sizes and shapes and a variety of colours including yellow, pick, purple, light blue and black with lines representing the water. /1 Box lid - Front has the British flag and Lion in centre. It reads "The puzzle of Britain, one puzzle no Nazi can solve, Jig-saw map of Britain cut into 500 pieces (size 17 1/2" X 22") "Mere" Trade Mark for Merriment". The side of the lid depicts British countryside and waters and includes a red map of Britain, a target, place and battle-ship. They read "When you have solved this puzzle you should know the geography of Britain backwards, for you must study the place-names to solve it!", "Devised and wholly manufactured in New Zealand, using New Zealand made cardboard and printing inks", "The large number of pieces, the similarity of shapes and the absence of straight edges make this A REAL PUZZLE!"
