Description
A cabinet card print showing a group of 13 soldiers taken at the bottom of a hill. Rifles are leaning together in tent formation. The photograph is mounted on grey card. Stamped proper left side "W. J. M. Cornthwaite". Research suggest that this maybe William Joseph Mercer Cornwaite who was a Waihi goldminer who died in 1903 from injuries recieved in the mine.
