Description
An unmounted postcard vernacular print showing a man doing a handstand on rock with sea in background. Handwritten reverse "Rock at end of beach now covered over Donkey rides used to go around this rock. EM."
The rock is on the north west end of the Main Beach at Mount Maunganui. Today (2022) there is barely any of the rock visible due to changes of the level of sand on the beach. (Researched by Shirley Arabin, Collection volunteer, 2022)
