Description
A unmounted vernacular print showing a two storey timber hotel on corner of Devonport Road and Spring Street - area known then as The Triangle. People standing on balcony and also on street and several dogs. "Brown's Star Hotel" across front also a star painted on building. Street in front is unsealed. Mr. A. Brown had been a policeman in Tauranga and owned the Hotel c1913. On reverse "Star Hotel". Land agent below B. C. Robbins, former Mayor of Tauranga. The image appears to have been taken from a photograph album.
