An unmounted postcard print showing the north end of The Strand, Tauranga, with six inhabited shacks and boat sheds. Two boats on the hard. Armed Constabulary building in Monmouth Redoubt. The Strand is just a track at this point, pre dates sea wall. On reverse 'Boat yard. Redoubt in background.'
