Description
Unmounted vernacular print showing a weatherboard villa with part of the front verandah enclosed. Hedge around boundary and gravel or shell footpath at street. Handwritten on reverse in ink "The house where Mrs E. M. Stewart was born". Mrs Stewart was the formerly May Moroney. She was the daughter of Constable Moroney who was the policeman at Maketu where he died. The house was on the north corner of Cameron Road and Monmouth Street.
