Description
A large format mounted print showing a couple standing on path before a two storied gable fronted weatherboard dwelling. Finial and decorative fretwork at peak of the gable, two double hung sashes on upper storey, verandah with matching decorative woodwork on verandah poles. Central panelled door with glass panels, windows on each side of door obscured by trees and shrubs in garden. Woman wears black high necked dress, ground length with grey hair combed back to bun or plait. Bearded man wearing suit, tie, watch chain and hat. Gum trees and pines in background behind house. Printed on mount "Gaze & Son photo Hamilton". Handwritten on reverse "Mr & Mrs Barrow, Te Puke".
