Description
An unmounted cabinet style image of a seated young woman. Leg of mutton sleeves in dark colour but with narrow lower sleeve in striped fabric. Cross over pinafore effect in similar stripes. Broach at throat and two objects like fobs or pendants on narrow chain at wrist. Wearing wedding and engagement rings and another ring on middle finger. On reverse "Aunt Mary 1898". "Mary Sellars married William Magnus McGarvey [1893]".
