Description
An unmounted large format print showing a view of Devonport Road intersected by Seventh Ave on left and entrance to camping ground at Jordan Field (now known as Memorial Park). Caravans and tents visible amoungst trees. Appears to be winter. Part of railway bridge visible through trees on left and Matapihi on right. Long grass on park and on empty land in foreground. Group of boys by camp entrance. On reverse in green ink "C Babington. Taken from rise at intersection of Devonport Road & 7th Avenue 1945, showing motor camp site Memorial Park area".
