Description
An unmounted postcard format print showing the official opening of the WWI Memorial Gates at the Tauranga Domain. Public in the foreground, five nurses standing by gates and public behind barrier on south side. Chairs for official party empty so may have been taken before ceremony began. On reverse "Domain gates & Canon Jordan's statue". Although there is some sort of hut visible in the Domain the statue of Canon Jordan is not visible.
