Description
An unmounted postcard print showing a view of The Strand, Tauranga. It may have been taken from the railway wharf. The Town Wharf [or Coronation Pier], Railway Bridge, stone embankment, railway tracks, platform and little tudor style railway station are visible. Three dinghies and a launch are anchored in the harbour. Printed on the front "Tauranga N.Z. 48". Handwritten on reverse "waterfront". This photograph was identified by Alf Rendell as having been taken by his father.
