Description
An unmounted print showing the Southern Cross which landed in Tauranga in January 1933. Monoplane standing in Waikareoa estuary when the tide was out. Crowd of people standing on land side and three men standing on seaward side. Southern Cross in capitals written on side of fuselage. On reverse "1st landing in Waikarauo [sic] back beach Kingsford Smith".
