Description
A print mounted on roughly trimmed card showing a grey horse harnessed to a cart with driver seated. Tents in background and other horses and vehicles. Handwritten on reverse "R. Miller's cart horse Nugget won six prizes at Tauranga show 29-12-00 [sic] also eastern branch of Tauranga harbour. Donor Mrs S C O Tunks". In one corner "E. Price", which indicates the photographer was Thomas E. Price. See photograph 0556/08 taken at the same event. "The Tauranga Agricultural and Pastoral Association is indeed to be congratulated on the good fortune of its sixth annual show." Bay of Plenty Times, 30 November 1900.
