Description
An unmounted postcard print showing a view of the reclamation of land for railway line along what is now Dive Crescent, Tauranga. Logs and other materials, huts, workers, and horse and cart are visible. Houses behind fences among trees are on Cliff Road. Monmouth Redoubt visible and some buildings on The Strand. Handwritten on reverse "Below the Military Cemetery and Redoubt where the track was being prepared for the railway from Tauranga to Tāneatua about 1922".
