Description
Postcard showing a view of The Strand, Tauranga taken from the Monmouth Redoubt. Written on reverse "Dear Alice, I received your letter a few days ago. I was very pleased to get it. I went to Clement Wragge’s last night it was rather nice. He showed us pictures of the wonderful stones he found up at Whangarei. He has a magic lantern. Frances has a bad throat and a splitting head ache. Afternoon. I am just home for my dinner. Eva and I have just received your postcards and Eva her letter. The Inspector has not been here yet. I must now close. Your loving Ethel."
