Postcard showing a view of "Mount Maunuganui from Tauranga Domain." Written on reverse "The Lodge, Devonport Road, Tauranga, 22/12/25. My Dear Alice, This is to convey our best wishes to you and your husband for a very happy Christmas and glad New Year. Do hope you are both well. Please accept many thanks for your nice letter which I will answer later. This is a pretty scene from the Domain, unfortunately the fine old tree just showing a few branches by the little gate on the right hand of card has been cut down. Swings and other amusements have been erected some months ago for the amusement of children which cost £100 and now with much love must say good bye from Ethel & Beatrice"
