Postcard showing a view of the Town Wharf and Victoria Wharf, Tauranga, taken from Monmouth Redoubt. Armstrong gun is visible to the right. Printed on front "Tauranga from the Redoubt." Written on reverse; "20 July….Dear Alice, As you have no Postcards of Tauranga I thought you would like this one. Love from Lucy. Miss A Goodyear, C/o Mr Hope, Rangitukia, Port Awanui, Gisborne."
