A sepia print of Maunganui Road and Mauao. Pilot house on north side of Mauao but pre dates Oceanside Hotel. Also pre dates planting of exotic trees known as the 'horseshoe'. Stamped on reverse "R J Rendell, Photographer, Tauranga". Also handwritten in pencil 'half page lengthwise full width off. BPTimes Tga.'
