Description
A sepia photographic print showing a group of men seated and standing. Typed note at bottom of image reads "A meeting to consider the establishment of a butter factory was held in the hall at Katikati. Among the settlers present were: Messrs. Dunnage, Morton, Earl, A. Cornes, W. Cornes, Riddell, Slevin, H. Smith, Wills, A. E. Shepherd, Eskridgge, Mulgrew, A. Johnstone. M. P. Stewart, Buckworth, M. A. Stewart, Digelmann, C. T. Dunne, E. Gledstane Preston, Wigley, Lockington, Macmillan, F. Smith, Tanner, George Vessey Stewart and Mervyn J. Stewart (convenor). Provisional Directors, Manager, Engineer, Reporter, Contractors of the Katikati Co. of Dairy Co. Ltd. 1902." Newspaper cutting pasted on reverse.
