Description
A panoramic black and white image of Tauranga District High School's Diamond Jubilee in 1936. Image taken outside school. A larger group (over 100) of children and adults dressed in winter clothes. Some boys in striped blazers. Palm trees and shrubs in front of building. Leafless tree on left without leaves confirms taken in winter. On reverse in ink 'Diamond Jubilee 1936'. Tauranga District High School, which is now the Tauranga Primary School, was located in Fifth Avenue. Secondary education was provided at the school from 1907 until 1945.
