Description
A large format unmounted black and white print of the Plummer homestead, Station Road, Ōmokoroa. A bay villa style with gable ends on one side of front of house and on side wall. Finials on each gable, with corbels below the bargeboard. Bullnose corrugated iron verandah roof with poles and decorative lattice work trim to poles.Turned timber on verandah rail. Weatherboard construction with corrugated iron roof. One chimney visible. Concrete steps lead to verandar near front door and concrete flower box in front of gable. Lawn in foreground with trees at left side of house and large palm on righ beside low hedge that obscures side garden. Handwritten on reverse 'Photograph taken and donated by R D Hyde'.
