Description
A black and white print of a white weatherboard building that appears to be a church in a field. There are norfolk pines in front of the building. The location has been identified as St. James Anglican Church, Kerikeri.
Construction of St James Church was completed in 1878 and the church consecrated in 1879. St James replaced the Chapel that was built on the same site in the 1820s by the CMS missionaries dwelling on the Kerikeri Mission Station est.1819 - 1848.
