Description
Postcard showing a view from below The Elms across to Mauao Mount Maunganui. A woman is walking along a path. Over the woman's shoulder the area of land that was known as The Spit is visible. The building behind the trees on the right is thought to be the Te Ope Fish and Bacon factory. Printing on the front reads "The Mount. Tauranga. F.G.R 3555." Handwriting on reverse reads "Miss A Goodyear, Katikati July 1912. Dear Alice, I don't think you have got this P.C. Best wishes from B.M.G."
