Postcard showing a view of Victoria Wharf, Tauranga, with coastal steamer berthed and the Town Wharf in the background. Printing on the front reads "Tauranga 2026 F.G.R." Stamp on reverse "Guinness Bros Ltd. P.O.Box 8 Tauranga." Handwriting on reverse reads "19/6/1911 'My Dear Cecil, Just a few lines to let you know how I am getting on. I am sending you a small parcel for your birthday, and I must wish you many happy returns of the day. Don't forget to write soon. Tot and Ruby have been over and we have been showing Fred how to dance. How are you gettting on. Love from Doris. Write soon."
