Description
Postcard showing a view of men and women on horses and dogs outside The Star Hotel, Tauranga. Handwriting on reverse reads "Waikato Hounds Sept. 27 1912 Tauranga." The Bay of Plenty Times records that the Waikato Hunt Club visited Tauranga for a hunt on 24 September 1912. The start was made from The Triangle, which was the area located outside The Star Hotel.
