A postcard showing a view of Devonport Road, Tauranga. Businesses visible include Janassen Bros. Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Lacey's Bazaar. Printing on front reads "Devonport Road Tauranga Meers & McMahon Photo." Handwriting on reverse reads "Dear Rose and Jack, I hope you received the case of books alright. We did not have many books there were lots of magazines and short stories. I hope you will like them. We shall send some more up another time never mind about sending stamps for me. I will pay for them. I am going up to Auckland before Good Friday. I hope it will be fine. We _ having wet."
