Description
Coloured postcard showing view of the waterfront, Tauranga. The Town Wharf and the Yacht Club in front of railway bridge are visible. Printing on front reads "The Waterfront Tauranga." Handwriting on reverse reads "1/6/57 Dear Sina, Ray and Geo, Well I am hoping you are all keeping well. Elizabeth is still in bed with arthritis of the left knee but is getting better able to move it. The Dr said she was to move it up and down so that it would not stiffen. It is still swolen but not too hard as it was. Poor girl she has to put up with my cooking which is not of the best. We are otherwise managing alright, I went into town yesterday and to day for meat and then bread. Holiday on Monday, Queens Birth day is _ that day, though actually it is not. I intend going out to your place. Geo to see that ? We have the central heating on as it is very cold and wet today and yesterday. Well hoping all the best to you all "The Woodies."
