Description
Postcard showing a view of the reclamation of the seafront along The Strand, Tauranga, for the East Coast Main Trunk Line. The photograph was take from the Monmouth Redoubt. A coastal steamer is berthed at the Town Wharf. Writing on front reads "Tauranga Mirrielees Photo 33." Stamped on reverse "Real Photo Post Card Frank Duncan and Co. Auckland." Handwriting on reverse "Reclamation from railway below Monmouth Redoubt."
