Description
A photograph album with soft cardboard cover with blotches of colour - brown, green, cream and light blue/purple. Top proper right-hand corner is embossed with 'Photo Album' in art deco style. The album pages and cover are held together with string. Twenty-four heavy card pages contain 184 photographs fixed to the page by photo corners. Descriptions appear alongside many of the photographs which are dated in the 1920's. Images are of Napier, the Napier Technical College Picnic 15/12/1925, Hastings, Waipukurau Military Training Camp 1929, Wairoa, Waikoau, Waikokopu, Tuai, Kaitawa, Military Training Camp Trentham, Lake Waikaremoana and shots of friends of friends and family. Surnames included in Album - Sinclair, McNaught, Dickson and Liddle. 0324/09/1 - Brown envelope with negative of a couple standing in the bush. 0324/09/2 - A newspaper article "Died for his Pal, Death of Bombardier R H Butler, An Officer's Tribute' on reverse are advertisements for stock sales dated January 1942.
