Description
A white-glazed porcelain cream jug. A coloured transfer of a view looking across to Mauao, Mount Maunganui, from the Tauranga Domain area is on the front of the jug. The scene shows the Mount, water, pasture, cows, fences and trees. Gold guilding is around the rim, 10 mm below the rim; around the base and 10 mm above the base; down one side of the handle and three lines down the outer spout. 'The Mount Tauranga' is written in the lower part of the scene.
