Carte de visite portrait of a seated woman with elbow on table and holding a basket of flowers. Hat with upturned brim and drooping feather squarely on her head. Dark coloured garment with frills below throat and on skirt. Foxed. Printed on reverse 'R. Redfern, Art Studio, Queen Street, Auckland 1879-86'.
