Description
Postcard showing a view of the Ocean Beach, Mount Maunganui, through the trees on Mauao. Printing on front "Ocean Beach Tauranga NZ 4817". Message on back "133 Hunter Street Tauranga January 12th 1959. Dear Doctor Macdiarmid, This is to say 'thank you and the same to you and yours' for your attractive 'every good wish' with the artistic reproduction and the 'solomen_series'(___). Further we wish to keep our memory green and think there is no better opportunity - by sending you this view card - perhaps the climate in Sheffield is so that you could think to frame it and to hang it up? It is a great comfort to us to know that you say 'I will write sometime' - you may think that to hasten this happy event is the (3rd and last) aim of these lines. To ones knowledge there are no news from here as, as aforementioned every good wish for you and your work from your grateful patient".
