Postcard showing a view looking north along The Strand towards the Monmouth Redoubt, Tauranga. The barrack room constructed within the Redoubt by the Armed Constabulary in 1871-1872 is visible. This postcard is a reprint of a Burton Brothers image which is thought to have been taken in the 1870s.
